Who we are
SmartForce ("we", "us") operates smartforce.ca and is building digital workforce software for trades and service businesses in Canada.
Early-access lead data
When you join early access, we collect:
- Email address (required)
- Optional business details you choose to provide (name, trade, city, admin challenges, etc.)
- Consent timestamp and the version of consent text shown at signup
- Basic attribution (referrer, UTM parameters) and technical logs for abuse prevention
We use this information to:
- Contact you about SmartForce product and pilot updates (with your consent)
- Evaluate and prioritize pilot participants
- Improve our website and measure interest (aggregated analytics)
Storage & location
Early-access records are stored in a Neon Postgres database. The physical region depends on your Neon project settings. The public website is hosted on Netlify. We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
We retain early-access data until you unsubscribe, request deletion, or we no longer need it for the purposes above — typically reviewed within 24 months unless a longer period is required for legal or operational reasons.
Your choices
You may unsubscribe from marketing/pilot updates at any time (unsubscribe link will be included in emails once recurring updates begin). To request access or deletion of your data, contact hello@smartforce.ca.
